Syncing your Orbi router and satellites is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to ensure a seamless connection:

Steps to Sync Your Orbi Router and Satellites
- Ensure both your router and satellites are powered on.
- Press the Sync button on your router.
- Within two minutes, press the Sync button on each satellite.
Note: The location of the Sync button and the LED indicator may vary depending on your satellite model.
Interpreting the Orbi Satellite LED Colours
After pressing the Sync button, observe the LED indicator on your Orbi satellite. The colour of the LED will tell you the status of the sync process:
- Solid Amber (Orange): This indicates that the router and satellite are too far apart. Try placing them closer together.
- Solid Magenta (Pink): If the LED remains solid magenta for 90-180 seconds, the sync process has failed.
- Solid Blue: If the LED is solid blue for 90-180 seconds, the router and satellite have successfully synced.

Ring LED. Use the ring LED to see the sync status between your Orbi Voice and router.
Note: After your Orbi Voice is synced to the Orbi router and Amazon Alexa is added, your Orbi Voice’s ring LED behaviour changes. - Volume Control slider. Use the slider to increase or decrease the volume.
- Speaker On/Off button. Touch to mute or unmute the speaker. If the speaker is muted, the X icon next to the button is red.
- Alexa trigger button. Touch to prompt Alexa to listen for a command.
- Microphone On/Off button. Touch to mute or unmute the microphone. If the microphone is muted, the X icon next to the button is red and you cannot give Alexa a command.
- Sync button (also used for WPS connection). Use the sync button to sync your Orbi Voice to your Orbi router or to connect WPS-enabled devices to your Orbi Voice.
- Ethernet ports. Connect Ethernet devices to the Ethernet ports.
- Power On/Off button and Power LED. Press to turn your Orbi Voice on or off. The Power LED is located above the Power On/Off button.
- Power connector. Connect the power adapter to the Power connector.
- Reset button. Press the Reset button until the Power LED blinks amber to factory reset your Orbi Voice.
