How to Install Poly Headset Software Updates – IT Solver Support

Learn how to update your Poly headset's software using Poly Lens Desktop application to ensure optimal performance and access the latest features.

Overview

Poly Lens Desktop automatically checks for software updates for your connected Poly devices. When updates are available, you can choose to install them immediately or postpone them for later. This guide walks you through the update process.

Prerequisites

Poly Lens Desktop application installed on your computer
Your Poly headset connected to your computer
Active internet connection

Update Your Poly Device Software

Locate and click the Poly Lens icon in your system tray (usually found in the bottom-right corner of your screen)
Select "Open" from the menu
When a software update is available, you have three options:
- Click Update Now on the software update notice to begin the update immediately
- Click Ask Me Later to postpone the update notification
- Navigate to your device's Overview page and click the Update button
Click OK to confirm the update
Once the update is complete, click Done to close the Software Update dialog

Additional Information

The update process may take several minutes to complete. Do not disconnect your headset during the update.
Your headset may temporarily disconnect and reconnect during the update process - this is normal.
If the update fails, try restarting Poly Lens Desktop and your computer before attempting the update again.
