Windows 10/11 installer not giving option to choose edition

Is your Windows installer stuck on installing Home edition?

To force the installation media to give you the choice of which edition to install

Right click your Desktop, choose New - Text Document

Paste the text below into that document

[EditionID]
Core
[Channel]
Retail

Then choose File - Save As, at the bottom of the Save As dialog, change file type to 'All Files' then save that file as "ei.cfg" into the Sources folder in your USB Installation Media

Then when you begin the Installation, you should be asked which Edition you want to install . . .

Also, at the start of the installation, untick the option - Use preferred settings for this PC
