Telcos use vendor lock-in tactics by giving you a "free" email account (e.g. mrbean@bigpond.com) which makes it difficult to freely change internet or phone providers if your email account will be deleted when you change providers. The solution is to use a gmail.com or outlook.com email account. If you want help with migrating your emails, contacts, calendars (and even files) call us at 07 3123 6000 or Contact Us
If you're running a business, it's best to use a professional, business-grade email platform such G Suite or Office 365 for Business.
Here is a collection of mail servers we have migrated emails for our customers to G Suite or Office 365.
