How to fix photo rotation - move.ljhooker.com & other web apps

Some websites don't respect all the metadata in an image file. I provide tech support to a real estate agents who frequently report photos uploaded to Move are rotated incorrectly. This issue may affect other web apps. 

The test photos I took and uploaded to Move with an iPhone 6 had correct rotation when taken with phone held horizontally.

First download and install JPEG Autorotate. Ask your IT admin to do this if you don't have admin rights.

 

1. Right click the folder of photos. If you're looking at the photos, go up one folder.
2. Select Autorotate all JPEGS in folder, or in folder and in all subfolders. 

Tip: Try to take photos while holding the camera horizontally.
