Steps to Reinstall Google Chrome
- First, quit Google Chrome if it is running.
- Open Finder.
- Go to the Applications folder.
- Find Google Chrome, right-click on it, and select Move to Trash.
- Next, open Finder and press Cmd + Shift + G to open the "Go to Folder" dialog.
- Type
~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome
and click Go. - Move the entire Chrome folder to the Trash. This will delete all your Chrome data, including bookmarks, history, and extensions.
- Open Safari or any other web browser.
- Go to the Google Chrome download page.
- Download the latest version of Google Chrome.
- Once downloaded, open the .dmg file and drag the Chrome icon to the Applications folder.
