How to Add Your Gmail Account

1. In Outlook, click File Add Account
2. Enter your Gmail/Google Workspace email address
3. Click Connect
4. When the Google permissions screen appears:
   • Check the box for "Read, compose, send and permanently delete all your email from Gmail"
   • Click Continue
5. Return to Outlook to complete setup

If you don't see the Google permissions screen, you'll need to reset the connection:

1. Clear Google Account connections:
   • Go to https://myaccount.google.com/connections?continue=https%3A%2F%2Fmyaccount.google.com%2Fsecurity
     or  https://myaccount.google.com/security  > Your connections to third-party apps and services
   • Make sure you're signed into the correct Google account
   • Find "Microsoft apps & services"
   • Delete any existing connections
2. Clear Windows credentials:
   • Close Outlook completely
   • Open Start menu and search for "Credential Manager"
   • Click on "Windows Credentials"
   • Remove credentials starting with "MicrosoftOffice16_Data"
   • Restart Outlook and try adding the account again

Important Notes

• This method only provides email access
• Calendar and contacts from the secondary account won't sync to Outlook via IMAP
• To access calendar and contacts, use one of these alternatives:
  • Gmail.com in your web browser
  • Set up a separate Outlook profile with GWSMO
  • Use the Gmail mobile app
• If you delete the wrong credentials, Outlook will prompt you to sign in again
• GWSMO allows only one account per profile for full synchronization
